Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut is a charming family-owned macadamia nut farm and outlet in Kaneohe, Oahu, that started back in 1987 when the founders sold nuts from the back of their car along Kamehameha Highway. Over the years it has grown into a beloved stop under the lush Ko’olau Mountains where visitors can sample a variety of freshly roasted and flavored macadamia nuts, Hawaiian coffee and other local products. The farm offers guided tours, including walks through the plantation and opportunities to learn about how macadamia nuts are grown and processed, along with cultural demonstrations on some tour options. It is open daily with a relaxed, country vibe that makes it a fun cultural and foodie stop while exploring the Windward side of Oahu.
